Parliament Hill Toastmasters meets in downtown Ottawa, in the meeting room of the Main Branch Location of the Ottawa Public Library, 120 Metcalfe Street (at Laurier Avenue West). International Speech and Table Topics Contest
On Thursday, February 11, Parliament Hill Toastmasters will be holding its annual Internation Speech and Table Topics contest. There is an excellent line-up of contestants, so it promises to be a competitive and entertaining evening. All members are encouraged to attend and cheer on the contestants!
 
Congratulations to Dave, for Completing His ACB!
On Thursday, February 8th, Dave completed his final speech to earn his Advanced Communicator Bronze. With participation from Victor, Kwasi and Maurice, Dave presented project #5 from the Technical Presentations manual —The Team Technical Presentation. The title of the presentation was Intellectual Property in the Digital Age. Way to go Dave!

New Season, New Location!
The new Parliament Hill Toastmasters season starts 6:30 pm, Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 in the meeting room at the Main Branch location of the Ottawa Public Library. We are very excited about our new location! The meeting room has a capacity of 30 people, which will be a big change from the previous location which started getting crowded with more than a dozen.
