 A critical part of atttracting new members to Parliament Hill Toastmasters club (or any Toastmasters club) is letting people know you are there. To get the word out about Parliament Hill Toastmasters, our VP of Public Relations has created a brochure which any member can use when promoting our club.
Download brochure [PDF] When you are talking to a friend or coworker about how great your Toastmasters club is (who doesn't?), you can give him or her a copy. Also try leaving some copies in your Doctor or Dentist's waiting room, or at your local library or community centre. |

Everyone at Parliament Hill Toastmasters can pat themselves on the back for receiving the District 61 Open House promotion award! Our efforts in promoting our club in January, climaxing with our January 31st Open House and Guest Night featuring Toastmasters International President Chris Ford, wowed the judges and stood us out from a crowd of 30 entries. As a reward for our efforts, our club receives one free registration for the District 61 Spring Conference taking place April 18-20 in Montreal. Again, congratulations all around, and thank you all for helping make this happen. |

Parliament Hill Toastmasters Club's very own Philippe-Antoine was the winner of the Area 20 Internation Speech contest! Congratulation Philippe-Antoine! Next stop: the Division C finals, taking place on Wednesday, March 19th at the CMHC building at 700 Montreal Road. The contest starts at 6:30 pm (briefing at 6 pm). Let's all be there to cheer on Philippe-Antoine! |

This Thursday, March 6th, Parliament Hill Toastmasters Club is playing host to the Area 20 Internation and Evaluation Speech Contest this week. The contest starts at 6:30. Although our regular meeting will not be taking place this week, all members are encouraged to come on out and cheer on Philippe, our speech contest winner! |

At Parliament Hill Toastmasters Club, we finished January with a bang! Our January 31st open house meeting featured none other than Chris Ford, DTM, President of Toastmasters International. Speaking to a packed house, Chris spoke about goals. More specifically, he spoke about how important it is to align your goals in order to achieve your goals. |
