Meeting Roles | Print |

Hands togetherA Toastmasters meeting is a team effort. For a meeting to run effectively there are a number of roles to be filled by the members of the club.

Click on the links below to get detailed descriptions of each of the meeting roles. Some of the roles are more involved than others, but each role represents an important part of a Toastmasters meeting. If you are a new Toastmaster performing a role for the first time, print out the role description and take it with you to the meeting for reference. Don't worry if you find a role intimidating. Observe a seasoned Toastmaster performing a role during your meetings before volunteering for the role yourself. Remember that at sometime every Toastmaster, even the most experienced, had to fill a role for the first time.
